Dear Clients

This is the third letter I am writing to you since COVID-19 hit the world. I do hope that you and your loved ones are surviving the Lockdown, as best as you can.

My Practice has continued operating during Lockdown. Fiduciary Services were decreed as Essential Services. Due to the marvels of Technology, I have not left my home in over 4 weeks. But it has still been Business, as usual.

I have attended a flood of webinars – as opposed to the Seminars, Conferences and Conventions. I usually go to, in order to report back some common consensus.

To date, the one common factor I have arrived at is that no one knows what the extent of the Global Economies Retraction, added to Worldwide Spread of Corona Virus, will be.

But the effects will be worldwide, with no quick fix.

Here are some thoughts for you to ponder:

1. The more things change, the more they stay the same. I am still available as normal – per email or telephone. Brenda too has been on top of her matters, working from her home and we have been in frequent contact.

 

2. There are huge Tax Relief Measures in place. Please make use of whatever is applicable to your Business and Personal matters. I have researched and published a concise article – with all the necessary links and details of how to apply.

 

3. Your Portfolios are defensively positioned. A Loss is only a Loss, if it is actually realised. The prudent Financial and Tax Planning that we have put in place will prove itself, over the Long Term.

 

4. We will move to phase 4 Lockdown with effect from 1 May 2020. It will be monitored and dependent on infection rate per area and province. We will find out more details from various Ministers – so still proceed with caution.

These are indeed strange times. As much as Business matters require our swift attention, so too does the Soul and the Psyche.

This Virus knows no discrimination, so we all need to exercise continued care, hygienic vigilance and social distancing.
